MAPS 20/20® 
MAPS® is the patented bottom ash profiling system that has served the power utility industry since 1992. It employs dual-axes scanning sensors to provide two and three dimensional images of ash in conventional water impounded bottom ash hoppers and larger scale slag tanks. Calculated ash volume (cu. ft.) provides a convenient control point to initiate the conveying sequence and to demonstrate that the hopper has been successfully emptied.

This is the next generation in reliable, low cost, trouble free bottom ash level systems. Rugged and dependable fixed-point sensors provide an inexpensive, low-maintenance alternative. Ash Tracker is a cost effective solution in the full range of ash collection systems – including conventional bottom ash hoppers, small and large slag tanks, submerged flight conveyors and step-bottom hoppers.
